The Aestuver and Hebel divisions of the Xella group are to hold a fire test demonstration of fire-resistant Aircrete panels and mini-seminar at Gelnhausen, Germany. Hosted by Sachverständingenbüro für Brandschutz Diplom-Ingenieure Endreß GbR (Specialist study bureau for fire protection engineering) on 28^th May 2009, the event will include a live test of the properties of the panels in detering fire spread, an evaluation of and discussion about the test and three talks by experts in the field.

 

The scheduled speakers are

Dr Markus Pulm, Berufsfeuerwehr Kalsruhe (the Kalsruhe Fire Service), on structural fire protection from the point of view of a fire service;

Herr Dr Tekn Dipl-Ing Tim Weber, on fire safety, construction, fire protection and heat calculation;

Herr Michael Protz, Xella Aircrete Systems GmbH, on fire safety in industrial construction with the installation of Hebel foam concrete.
