The deadline for the Call for Papers for the next International Symposium on Tunnel Safety and Security (ISTSS 2010), to be held in Frankfurt am Main the 17-19th March 2010, is fast approaching. Abstracts for paper submissions should be received no later than the 1st June (poster submissions are open until the 1st October). The call for papers contains full information.

The ISTSS has rapidly become a highly respected scientific Symposium on Tunnel Safety and Security globally. Since its inception in 2003 it has continued to attract between 200-300 delegates from all over the world and the venue for next years symposium in Frankfurt is well located for easy access from Frankfurt's International Airport and Frankfurt City Centre.

New for next years Symposium is the instigation of the ISTSS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Tunnel Safety and Security and the Best Paper Award.
